Re_Set
Up close and personal stories of real people who managed to redefine their lives and become leaders in their fields, proving the strength it takes to be human. Their unfiltered testimonies are decoded with the aid of specialists (doctors, researchers, scientists, healers) who venture but often fail to provide reasonable explanations for the practice and process each hero chose to get through to the other side.
In a effort to visualize the intricate processes of the human psyche, the revival of each reset is achieved by a combination of words, music, 3D animated graphics and unanticipated shot sequences.

Recrucified
A modern adaptation of the classic novel Christ Recrucified by Nikos Kazantzakis, the film is a postmodern allegory of the Passion of Christ, as seen through the prism of an antihero turned hero.
Through a mosaic of themes relating to submission, free will, hypocrisy and the different manifestations of faith, the film investigates human willingness to sacrifice for the sake of others. Or lack thereof.
The film is being developed as a trilateral co-production between Greece, Italy and Cyprus, with the support of the European Co-Development fund by Creative Europe (MEDIA), and has been pre-approved for production support from the Greek Film Centre. The Consortium is looking to attach a fourth co-producer and apply for Eurimages Co-production support in September 2024.

More Film than Life
In his mind, each shot in a film carries music, poetry and rhythm, and he considered it his duty to capture the essence of the person behind the role, following their movement, emotion and breath.
From an underprivileged childhood to the film sets of top directors, Yiannis Papadakis admits that his life was “more film than life”. With admirable ingenuity and dedication to his craft, he raised the profession of the grip into its own artform. Karagiozis, the patent grip equipment he created, was sought after from film crews across the world. Still, he spent most of his career getting sabotaged by the system he helped elevate - he has even been accused as an accessory of the 17th November terrorist group!
In a time when AI solidifies its presence in filmmaking, Papadakis’ body of work reveals a true visionary, as much as his death marks the end of handcrafted film artistry.
The documentary combines real life interviews, in the form of a dying man’s confessions, with testimony, archive materials, and film excerpts manifesting the genius and craftsmanship.

The discreet charm of forgery
They say that forgery is as old as art. What then is the true difference between an original and a fake? What really constitutes ‘proper’ art, and why should it matter who signs it, if the emotions it evokes are equally profound? How does one become a forger and what are the methods used to deceive? Why is it important to authenticate works of art, and what constitutes a ‘genuine fake’?
Combining retrospective and investigative narration with entertaining animation, this fast-paced docuseries asks art historians, museum curators, art dealers, lab experts, police investigators, and of course artists and reformed (?) forgers to weigh in on the issue of authenticity, in a time when it is becoming intrinsically challenging to distinguish real from fake in all aspects of our daily lives.
The series is being developed in close collaboration with the Teloglion Fine Arts Foundation, following up on their exhibitions: Art (F)or Fake and The Discreet Charm of Forgery, and will track the Foundation’s efforts to authenticate works from its collection, which have been under scrutiny as fakes.

BAA’BEL
BAA’BEL is based on the graphic novel Hayk and Bel that recounts a story of discord between two Titans circa 3000 B.C. , after the Great Flood. Hayk, a fifth generation descendant of Noah, is the Marvel-like super-hero who defends the people of Armenia from the tyrannical Babylonian King Bel, looking down upon them from the tower of Babylon, under the shadow of holy mountain Ararat. The story of a patriarch fighting for the freedom of his people against a tyrant bent on becoming the world’s most powerful ruler, bears more than the mythical thrill of a clash between Titans. It becomes a modern day epic, a comment on current world affairs and the ever-present dichotomy between the will to dominate and the right to self- determination.

#meWITCH
Goddess, oracle, sorceress. Immortalized by myth, mistreated by her male counterpart, shunned by Church and State, and subdued by religion, the Holy Female has been striving to regain her rightful place in the collective state of mind since the dawn of time.
Priestess, healer, prostitute. Blessed (some would say cursed) with increased extra sensory perception (ESP), women have historically been more prone to try and make sense of the way nature works, forming by default a profound bond with the source of life. For that, they have been scrutinized, ridiculed, persecuted, even killed.
Maiden, Mother, Crone. As the Circle of Life goes ever on, modern day “witches” of Greece invite us in to trace the origin of their practices, and discover their kinship with magical traditions across borders, all the while breaking the spell of social misconception.

From Egypt to Hawaii and from Beijing to Reykjavik, Asta learns more about geography, life and climate change with each trip, forming an ‘environmental squad’ of children attuned to saving the world, one tree, coral reef or renewable energy source at a time.
Hers is a story of a butterfly effect in reverse.
The series is being developed in close collaboration with the author and the illustrator of the original books featuring Asta the Hurricane, one of the most popular children's’ book series in Russia.
